For our first year anniversary, my wife and I traveled to Yosemite National Park for the 4-day Thanksgiving weekend. We had dinner at the Ahwahnee Hotel, did some easy hikes, and drove to Hetch Hetchy. We stayed in Curry Village in a heated tent cabin, which was nice for the freezing night temperatures.

Manzanita This manzanita bush was particularly red and shiny. Hetch Hetchy is lower in elevation than Yosemite, and the vegetation is different. We enjoyed seeing so many manzanita bushes that we normally associate with Arizona where we grew up.
