The light was painted in with a small waterproof flashlight. Each shot came out different, but this was my favorite. The hardest part was figuring out how to secure the spoon so it wouldn't move - I ended up clamping it to a cast iron pan, and then used wooden spoons under the pan to adjust the angle.
UPDATE: Thanks for the love y'all! @Dave - there was no flash, it was only the flashlight for the lighting. There was probably some ambient light with the 5-second exposure, but I don't think it affected the final image.
