Tonight I headed out to the Santa Monica Pier to utilize my rented ultra-wide (Tokina 11-16mm) before I have to send it back on Monday. It happened to be incredibly foggy. This view of Pacific Park rides was my favorite, and it fills up the 11mm field of view quite nicely. I took a lot of shots and they all turned out different. This one stood out mostly because of the purple glow in the fog and reflected on the wood planks.

The flag at half-staff in front of the massive Federal Building on Wilshire. Shortly after I had to return the rented 14-24mm lens - it's been fun.
