Curtain

2011-04-11 I've been wanting to take this shot since last week and finally did today. It kind of fits my mood, since I've had a headache for most of the day and things have been kind of fuzzy. The subject of this vertically panned photo is the stringy tips of a bamboo plant. They hang down like a mini weeping willow and I wanted to exaggerate that verticality. I particularly like the color scheme, and it reminds me of the album for Narrow Stairs, although more green and obviously not blocky. I took a couple dozen shots with different manual settings, this one had the most visual interest. [last year]
