Pretty Eyes
2011-03-30 I shot this photo of my wife wearing her glasses tonight. I propped up my white presentation board and bounced my flash off it while she sat under it. I processed quite a bit in Lightroom - I like the moody look here. This photo is significant, because tomorrow we're paying a man several thousand dollars to cut a slice in her eyeball, peel it back and shoot lasers into it. That's right, my wife is getting LASIK, or "laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis" after wearing glasses or contacts since she was a child. She's pretty excited. UPDATE: Thanks for all the well-wishes! I've passed them along... UPDATE 2: The surgery went great! Glasses-free the next morning! [last year] so random...
