Century Plant

It's another agave photo, albeit a tad less desperation-y than yesterday. This is the massive bloom of a century plant, aka Agave americana. I spotted it on a hike from Temescal to Rivas canyon, not that it was hard to miss right next to the trail and probably 20 feet tall.
